Ingvild Lyckander

Ingvild is focused on our product journey, research and development, UX/UI and more. She's spent her career at the intersection of algorithms and usability, making sure the technical depth underneath a platform earns its place instead of getting lost between the model and the interface.

Her background spans machine learning, optimisation, and spatial data analysis. Before Vind AI, she worked as a data scientist and product manager at Spacemaker AI, applying similar site-analysis principles to planning for the built environment, and led the machine learning practice as a senior consultant at Bekk. She started her career as a teaching assistant at NTNU and an intern at Statkraft, an early stop in the renewable energy sector she's since spent years building software for.

As Head of Product at Vind AI, Ingvild leads the team responsible for how developers use the platform to run yield, financial, and technical analysis across wind, solar, and battery storage sites. Her academic background in optimisation, including a master's thesis on vehicle routing and mixed capacitated general routing problems, sits close to the layout and siting problems the product solves for customers every day.
