This month, we've focused on cutting out the manual work that slows you down. Pulling wind resource data into your configurations no longer means downloading and re-uploading, and if you're working on German projects, the EEG correction factor is now calculated for you automatically. Here's what's new:
You can now apply multiple timeseries’ in your wind configuration directly from our built-in datasets, instead of downloading data and uploading it back in. By default, we select the four data points closest to your park centre, or you can pick your own two to four points straight from the preview map. It's one less manual step between you and your resource assessment.
You can now enable the German EEG correction factor (Referenzertragsmodell) on the guaranteed price in your financial configuration. We calculate each turbine's reference yield, quality factor, and correction factor automatically, including detecting whether it falls within the Südregion, and apply it directly to your IRR calculations. A new Correction factor widget in Dashboards gives you full visibility into the numbers behind the model, so German compliance no longer means a separate spreadsheet.
We're extending our noise analysis to cover France's relative noise limits, where compliance is measured against existing noise sources and background noise rather than an absolute threshold. In addition, we added a default UK regulatory configuration with compatible noise limits. Both feed into the noise analysis, the layout optimiser, and noise curtailment optimisation, helping your results reflect local regulatory context more closely. We'll share more detail on getting the most out of this as it continues to roll out.
