We are happy to share a few more "as-they-happen" product updates, upcoming events and a couple of newly signed customers and partners.

New in yield analysis: Uncertainty calculations

We’ve just implemented uncertainty calculations within the analysis configuration in Vind AI, enabling a more realistic assessment of energy production.

You can now input project-specific uncertainties to generate a net energy distribution, including commonly used percentiles such as P90.

With this release, you can:

  • Specify uncertainties directly in the analysis configuration (losses work as before)

  • Check production results for different AEP percentiles in Compare (P90 shown in the Production tab)

  • Run financial analyses using an AEP percentile specified in the financial configuration

  • View all results and export PDFs directly from the Dashboard

This makes it easier to evaluate project risk, communicate realistic yield expectations, and connect uncertainty directly to financial outcomes.

Wind data update: Introducing Wind Wizard 1.0 for site-specific wind configurations

Setting up wind configurations tailored to a specific park is now easier than ever with the release of the new Wind wizard. The step-by-step flow helps you configure wind data with better defaults and recommendations based on park complexity, wind variation, and available sources.

The recommendations are backed by complexity studies and expert input, ensuring your configuration reflects the realities of your site.

Alongside the wizard, we’ve introduced two improvements to wind configurations in general:

  • Long-term correction of time series — combine measurement data with long-term datasets to generate corrected time series files through our Measure-Correlate-Predict (MCP) module for more robust configurations.

  • Select specific wind data points — choose a precise data point from built-in sources (rather than relying only on the park centre default), giving you greater flexibility for site-specific setups.

Both of these enhancements are also available outside of the wizard, so you can benefit whether or not you use the guided setup.

Local impact optimisation upgrade: Max noise level

Noise compliance just became more straightforward. You can now set a maximum dB level directly in the regulatory configuration.

When you optimise curtailment with this setting applied, Vind AI ensures that the specified maximum noise level is never exceeded, helping you design layouts and operating strategies that stay within local regulations, without the need for repeated manual adjustments.
