Nadara is using Vind AI to expand its scenario analysis and integrate commercial and technical analyses earlier. The developer sees potential for the platform to improve the rates-of-return across its offshore wind project portfolio.
By using Vind AI’s platform for their offshore wind projects from January 2026, Nadara aims to optimise decision-making across their portfolio by quantifying and managing core project risks earlier.
Focused on renewable energy, Nadara is one of the largest independent power producers in Europe, with an installed capacity of 4.2 GW and an 18 GW pipeline across offshore wind, solar, waste-to-energy and biomass. Nadara also owns and operates energy storage assets.
“We are always looking for ways to strengthen our understanding of project risk and uncertainty at an earlier stage of development. Vind AI provides another tool that can help us explore different scenarios and assess how potential changes may influence project outcomes, supporting more informed decision-making across the portfolio."
—Rob Mawdsley, Head of Site Characterisation at Nadara.
Alongside Vind AI’s extensive scenario analysis capabilities, Nadara’s team particularly expects to gain value from how the platform integrates technical and financial assessments.
“One of the benefits of a platform like Vind AI is the ability to bring technical and commercial considerations together earlier in the project development process."
—Catherine Speirs, Head of O&M Offshore at Nadara.
