About
Ingrid
Ingrid leads the energy yield team at VIND, where she shapes how the platform models wind resource, wake losses and long-term production for hybrid wind-solar-storage sites.
Before VIND she spent eight years as a senior resource analyst at a Northern European developer, running pre-construction yield assessments on more than 60 onshore projects from early prospecting through to financial close. That work — defending P50 and P90 numbers in front of lenders and technical advisors — is where her conviction comes from: a yield estimate is only as good as the assumptions you can show your working for.
She writes on this blog about the modelling decisions that quietly decide whether a project gets built: reanalysis bias correction, wake model selection, and how hybridisation changes the production picture. She holds a PhD in wind energy meteorology and regularly presents at WindEurope.
